A big hurray! Chancerygate Foundation Bursary for International Students at LSBU in the UK, 2023 application deadline.
The Chancerygate Foundation Bursary for African and Caribbean students at London South Bank University will be offered for the academic year 2022-2023. A new or existing international student can apply for the programme.
In order to qualify for this bursary, applicants must be of African and Caribbean descent and wish to seek professional certification through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Using this program, qualified students can overcome obstacles and establish stable careers in the real estate industry.

Choosing criteria
- As a person of African and Caribbean heritage, you identify as such.
- There are less than 25k pounds in your household income each year.
- The course will be available to those under 26 years of age.
- In your family, you are the first generation to complete higher education.
- Disability or a learning difference is something you identify as.
- It is possible that you have spent time in care, been placed in care, or are estranged from your family.
- It is recognized by social services that you are a young adult.
- As your main qualification, you hold a BTEC diploma.
- In the year before you start your course, you will be a mature student (aged 21 years or older) who does not possess a bachelor’s degree
Subjects relevant to the project
Undergraduate degrees offered at the university include a BSc in quantity surveying or a BSc in building surveying.
Applicant’s Method
LSBU Online Application System is required for students applying. You can apply for an undergraduate course through UCAS if you are an international student. After that, please email breakingbarriers@lsbu.ac.uk.
The following are the benefits of applying:
- There will be ten thousand pounds of living expenses paid to student beneficiaries each year, along with access to work experience in the field.
- In the case of students taking a multi-year degree course, the bursary will be paid every year, with the exception of placement years.
- Each bursary recipient will receive $5,000 in two equal installments.
- The Bursary is contingent on students progressing to their next academic year.
