In order to develop new capabilities for agriculture, the University of Adelaide is delighted to offer students the 2022 academic study grant.

ARC Training Centre for Future Crops Development PhD Scholarship Expressions of Interest are now open for the school year 2022–2023. Local as well as foreign applicants are eligible for scholarship grants.

University of Adelaide scholarships will be provided to selected candidates for their PhD program to cover the cost of education.

A country that is eligible to apply is:

Students from all over the world, including international students, Australians, and New Zealanders, can apply.

The following criteria were used for selection:

  • There must have been an Expression of Interest from the applicants.
  • The applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program in the near future.

How to apply

The university portal must be used to apply for admissions. It is necessary to submit the scholarship application separately.

Documents supporting the claim:

  • I am interested in
  • A copy of your Australian or New Zealand passport, or proof of your Australian permanent residency status (if you have it).
  • Certificates of degree (testamurs)
  • Transcripts of academic achievements
  • Documents in other languages translated
  • Proven proficiency in the English language
  • Here is my curriculum vitae.

The following criteria must be met for entry:

  • Bachelor’s degrees (or equivalents) from the University of Adelaide must have at least a minimum distinction average; Honours degrees (or equivalents) from the University of Adelaide must have at least a second-class grade (upper division), a postgraduate coursework degree with significant research components and a minimum GPA, or a Master of Philosophy (or equivalent) from the University of Adelaide.
  • Students must submit test scores for English language proficiency in the following areas:
  • English proficiency test (IELTS) academic
  • Testing of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) on the Internet
  • Academic version of PTE (Pearson Test of English)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (previously CAE – Cambridge English: Advanced)
