The deadline for applications is:
- Nomination deadline: November 30, 2022
- Deadline for student OUAC applications: December 14, 2022 (Please note that this is the final deadline for submitting an application to the OUAC; however, it is recommended that you apply for admission to programs by November 7, 2022, as spaces fill up quickly and popular programs may close early).
- Applicants for student scholarships have until January 16, 2023 to submit their applications
A call for applications is now open for the 2023 Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Grant in Canada. International applicants from all over the world are welcome to apply for this scholarship grant.
This scholarship honors students who show outstanding academic achievement and creativity as well as those who are recognized as college leaders. A focus is placed on how the student has made a positive impact on college life and society as well as their future ability to contribute to society worldwide.

In addition to tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support, the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program also covers living expenses during the four-year program. Only the University of Toronto is eligible to receive the scholarship.
Criteria for eligibility are as follows:
Students who are nominated by their school will be invited to apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship program. A complete list of eligibility criteria is as follows:
- It is necessary to speak English
- World countries are eligible:
- Student from another country
- The ability to think creatively and with originality
- An active member of the community and school
- Academically and creatively accomplished
- Exploring new ideas and learning new things with enthusiasm
- Leadership abilities that have been demonstrated
- Have completed their secondary school education by June 2022 or are currently enrolled in their final year
- Students who have already begun post-secondary studies at another post-secondary institution in January 2023 are not eligible for consideration.

- The nomination must come from your school. If your school has not yet been contacted or verified, we encourage you to fill out our application (external link) (external link) (external link).
- In order to be considered for admission to the University of Toronto for the class of 2023, please apply by the appropriate deadline(external link) and complete your application for admission by the deadline. Your first choice of program at U of T will be considered for the Pearson Scholarship. You may apply for several programs and may be accepted to them all, but the Pearson Scholarship will only be awarded to your first choice of program at U of T at the time of the scholarship decision.
